This short branch of 3 3/4
miles from Abermule on the Cambrian main line, to Kerry in Powys, whose eponymous station was actually about 3/4 mile away in Glanmule, lost its passengers
from 9.2.1931 and freight from 1.5.1956. Today it's as overgrown and difficult
to trace as you might expect after half a century. We didn't have a great deal of time to explore but it didn't appear that much (or indeed any) of it is walkable, so what you see here is basically what's accessible by road. Since my visit another enthusiast has been in contact with me regarding the branch and has kindly offered the loan of some of his own photos to supplement mine: you'll find them by clicking here.
